Nestled in a practical garden with tropical tree of 1130 m2 and offering 180 m2 of interior space and 55 m2 of covered space, the villa benefits from a 15 meter by 2.5 meter saltwater swimming lane pool (with integrated jacuzzi).

Built in 2009, inspired by Le Corbusier – in the pure brutalist tradition, it is remarkable for the curves of its lines and its large bay windows opening onto mango trees, coconut trees and giant bamboos. That and it’s colors!

Inspired by brutalist traditions, the finishing touches of this two-story private villa emphasize maximizing natural light. This was accomplished by adding openings to the existing walls, featuring an array of shapes, styles, and vibrant colored glass panels.

The owner’s artistic influence shines through in the carefully chosen colors, styles, light fixtures, and overall villa design. Despite the abundant use of glass, the architectural layout, selected materials, and shade from garden trees ensure a naturally cool environment. As a result, the saltwater pool and jacuzzi offer a consistently refreshing experience throughout the year.

The experience

In combination with the artistic approach of the spaces, the property is very clean, neat and cool property with a colorful design and natural light welcomes it’s visitors warmly. With a fully equipped kitchen and a saltwater pool with jacuzzi and a villa team stand-by to service. Everything can be found at this very functional yet original villa. The design graciously allows both bedrooms, living- & dining rooms on the both floors to overlook the saltwater pool and garden. You can choose to let natural air flow freely surrounding the original and smart design villa. Or keep everything closed and add the air-conditioning. The well isolated rooftop provides cool interiors year round.

DINING ROOM

A cosy dining table is set out easily in the open practical kitchen. From there allowing views into the garden while staying in touch with the preparation team or keeping a close eye on your own preparations. The large working table of the kitchen allows to free up enough space on the round dining table. Two more tables have been set out for dining outside of the kitchen area. One in the spacious living room with a lot of natural light and the other outside in the garden under cover of the trees. Both overlooking the pool and the grounds.

Living Room

Expanding effortlessly from the kitchen and dining room while allowing to be a passage to the bed- and bathrooms. And without any visual obstruction to all its connecting rooms as well as the outside pool, the old wooden house and the villa grounds. It serves as the central room allowing views to all directions. Dressed up with tasteful décorative items adorned in a range of colors as high lighted by the aptly title of the villa.

Garden

The lap pool with the original tiles with its diversity of colors lights up in it’s green surrounding. Allowing visitors to enjoy sitting around on the surrounding pooldeck. The lush trees of the garden provide a welcome shade in this tropical climate. Lovely colorful flowers are growing on the existing tree trunks While ground cover allows a clean feeling of the stretched grounds from the entrance all the way to the back.

Bedrooms

This fresh and clean tropical villa is provided with 2 bedrooms. And is one of the only villas with a bedroom and ensuite bathroom on the ground floor, allowing easy access for those prefering no staircases. An additional bonus of this setup is that the whole first floor becomes dedicated space for the second bedroom. More like a lounge with a bedroom on one end and the bathroom at the other end of the floor. The design has left large open spaces in any shape to filled by windows. Each of them having green cover to provide the necessary privacy.

Our experienced and knowledgeable host and manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. They will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping & Butlers

The villa includes housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply assist where possible.

Besides your included breakfast, there’s a menu for bbq. And a chef can be hired for larger parties and events.

Neighborhood

Just a short walk from the Wat Bo area and the riverside of the city. It’s a quiet area with hotels, restaurants and some small shops along the road into the city. A wide road for easy traffic, with narrow pavements on the side. Plenty of greenery around and many local houses remain to allow the sensation of the Cambodian countryside.

Getting Around

We have tuk-tuk’s, cars & Jeeps or mini-vans available to help you get around or to take you on an excursion. And bicycles – any size – are available to rent.

There’s ample secured parking space inside the property along the driveway.

We stayed there in February 2025, and you’re pampered from start to finish.
They pick you up from the airport and take you to the villa, where the owners welcome you, and the staff greet you with open arms.
The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and fruit juice.
My wife was a bit unwell, so they made extra hot tea with honey without us having to ask.
The villa is spacious, very modern, and quiet, yet close to town.
We also organized a barbecue, which the staff took care of down to the last detail.
Massages and excursions can also be arranged.
We stayed for a week and will definitely return; it was a very good experience.
