The dining room sits centrally located looking out on the pool and into the garden. It connects the terrace and lounge area and the bright spacious living room overseeing the pool with the large kitchen. It has a coffee bar and fridge and is easily accessible from each of the guest room. 

Living Room

A large and bright space serves as the living room providing lovely vistas into the seamlessly endless garden in front of the property. It connects directly to the terrace and lounge with the saltwater pool and to the dining room. There’s a large Smart TV to watch from the cosy salon and ample space to enjoy good company.


The modern house sits at the end of a beautiful garden with a diversity and richness one can expect in a tropical setting. There’s little disruption of the landscape with the building existing at just the groundfloor level. In front of the elegant building there’s a large covered terrace parallel to the pool overlooking the vast space of the garden. ​There are ample options for sitting and lounging. In the North-East corner of the property lies a small beach, with sand, fire pit and wooden loungers to enjoy the sunset in the West.


There are two guest bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, both on the ground floor with one in the Northeast- and the other to the Southwest end of the building. The very spacious bathrooms are well ventilated and providing a second entrance to the room by connecting to the terrace and poolside. Both large rooms have an abundance of ​natural light and come with a queen size bed and lots of options for clean storage as well as a desk and chair.

Thanks to the Rose Apple Team for the excellent service and friendly atmosphere at Red Box Villa. Three days of exploring the Angkor temple complex and relaxing in the villa were unforgettable for our company. Breakfasts and lunches were wonderful. The pool on the territory allowed you to relax from the daytime heat and restore strength for walking. The atmosphere in the villa is home with personal belongings of the owner, which he brought from Belgium and perfectly decorate the interior. Plumbing and air conditioning in the villa in excellent condition. The quality of cleaning is the best in Cambodia. Thanks to the owner Pascal, will come back again!

Akathon House was simply amazing.
The property is beautiful with a comfortable and private setting. Each room was a private en-suite and had their own individual charm.
The common areas were airy with plenty of space and things to do. The pool is more amazing than it appears in photos.
The staff at Akathon House are super helpful. They really try to make your holiday as wonderful as possible.
Communication was quick and easy, at all hours of the day if needed.
Everything was above and beyond what I expected.
(I celebrated my birthday here and threw a small and private party amongst guests)
